Richard Earney's Warped Topographies

Richard Earney’s Warped Topographies

Inside the Outside photography collective are bringing their work to MMX Gallery in New Cross, London between 22nd April – 2nd June.

I heartily recommend you make some time to view.

I saw their show in Nottingham last year. They are bringing together some wonderful contemporary landscape photographers, presenting work which is challenging and stimulating.

Each photographer demonstrates their own highly individual and personal representation of the land around them. Guest creatives feature on their website each week.

Most recently Richard Earney’s ‘Warped Topographies’ have taken pride of place – wonderful Polaroid experiments which fire the imagination.

What do these six images suggest to you?

‘Whether we simply enjoy being in the landscape or are involved in its representation the question we will all confront at some stage is ’How do we relate to the landscape?’’ – the Inside the Outside question.
